Global Talent Awards 2021 offers the following 16 company categories.

Companies are allowed and encouraged to submit entries in multiple categories in Global Talent Awards 2021. Since each entry is judged separately in each category it is submitted in, entries submitted in multiple categories are eligible to win multiple awards. Companies winning multiple awards are automatically considered for the coveted Most Awarded companies list.

Tip: Various parts of the Company category submissions can frequently be re-used, often with minimal to no tweaks, to also enter multiple other Company of the Year categories, as relevant.

COMPANY OF THE YEAR – by size
Companies from all industries and regions worldwide are eligible. Winners in this category will be selected in size subcategories.

As in the other Company of the Year category, demonstrated growth percentages (in the form of revenue growth and/or staff growth percentages); innovations (in terms of patents, inventions, first-to-market developments, company culture and policies, etc.); social or environmental responsibility programs and contributions; employee satisfaction and company culture; and any other overall company successes recommended. Companies are welcome to enter both Company of the Year categories, where applicable.

Winners in this category will be selected in each of the three company-size subcategories:
a. Company of the Year – Large (1000 and more employees)
b. Company of the Year – Medium (100-999 employees)
c. Company of the Year – Small (1-99 employees)

COMPANY OF THE YEAR – by geography
Companies from all industries and sizes are eligible. Winners in this category will be selected in regional subcategories.

As in the other Company of the Year category, demonstrated growth percentages (in the form of revenue growth and/or staff growth percentages); innovations (in terms of patents, inventions, first-to-market developments, company culture and policies, etc.); social or environmental responsibility programs and contributions; employee satisfaction and company culture; and any other overall company successes recommended. Companies are welcome to enter both Company of the Year categories, where applicable.

Winners in this category will be selected in each of the three regional subcategories:
a. Company of the Year – Americas
b. Company of the Year – Asia and Pacific
c. Company of the Year – Europe, Middle East and Africa

COMPANY OF THE YEAR – by audience focus
As in the first Company of the Year category, it is recommended to mention the entirety of the company’s success and include in the submission: demonstrated growth percentages (in the form of revenue growth and/or staff growth percentages); innovations (in terms of patents, inventions, first-to-market developments, company culture and policies, etc.); social or environmental responsibility programs and contributions; employee satisfaction and company culture; focus on customer service; and any other overall company successes.

Winners in this category will be selected in two subcategories, depending on their audience focus:
a. Company of the Year – BtoB (companies focusing on the business – enterprise, SMB, etc. – market)
b. Company of the Year – BtoC (companies focusing on direct-to-consumer offerings)

Tip: Companies are welcome to re-use the same submission in all three Company of the Year categories, where applicable.

Companies from all industries, regions worldwide, and sizes that began operations since January 1, 2020 are eligible.

LOCAL COMPANY OF THE YEAR
Among multinational corporations and companies with global reach, this new category is geared specifically to companies with only a local reach or clientele. Companies from all industries, regions worldwide, and sizes are eligible, as long as their presence is limited to one country or region.

FASTEST-GROWING COMPANY OF THE YEAR
Companies from all industries, regions worldwide, and sizes are eligible. Demonstrated growth percentages, in the form of revenue growth and/or staff growth percentages required.

Winners in this category will be selected in each of the three company-size subcategories:
a. Fastest-Growing Company of the Year – Large (1000 and more employees)
b. Fastest-Growing Company of the Year – Medium (100-999 employees)

With the global spread of COVID-19, every organization’s crisis management has been put to the test. All executives tasked with preparing for, managing and responding to crises, including but not limited to the current global pandemic, are eligible to apply. This includes all executives involved in crisis management, including customer care, customer service, customer support, logistics, operations, technology, marketing, PR etc., as well as cross-departmental team heads.

Tip: This category submission can frequently be re-used – or parts of it re-purposed – to also enter the various Crisis Management Campaign of the Year categories.

Global Talent Awards offers the following 17 product categories.

Only entries in the “Best New” product categories need to have launched since January 1, 2020. There are no launch date restrictions in any of the other product categories, but we ask that you focus in your submission on achievements, data and stats since January 1, 2020. This doesn’t necessarily have to mean major changes to the product – just up-to-date sales growth percentages, customer quotes, case studies or patents/awards/reviews since January 1, 2020. In the product categories, Enterprise is defined as over 1000 employees.

Global Talent Awards offers the following 17 other categories, including advertising, corporate social responsibility, environmental, media and PR. To be eligible, submissions should be executed during the eligibility period (that is, since January 1, 2019) and can be submitted regardless of the budget, final product size/length or dedicated team size.

Tip: Submissions in the various CSR, media, PR and other categories can often be re-used to support entries for the Departments or Executives that created them; not limited to the examples listed in the individual category Tips below.

Annual reports created by publically owned companies in all industries and regions worldwide are eligible. This includes both online and print formats.
